Unfortunately, there are people in our communities who don’t have access to a lot of basic essentials. That’s why packing care kits for those without housing and then handing them out whenever you notice someone in need is a great way to spread a little joy this holiday season. Here are some things you can include:

• Warm clothing, like scarves, mittens or beanies

• Gift cards to local grocery stores

• Shoes

• First-aid essentials

Volunteer At A Local Christmas Event

There are likely a lot of holiday events going on in your community this time of year, so now is a great chance to get involved.
